Shri DasBodh is written by the great sage and saint Swami Samarth Ramdas.
A Samarth Ramdas ( Lived between 1608 – 1681 CE ), also known as Sant Ramdas or Ramdas Swami, was an Indian Hindu saint, sage, yogi, philosopher, poet, writer, kingmaker, and spiritual master.
He was a devotee of the Hindu deities Rama and Hanuman.
He was a political and spiritual guru of the great king of Indian history.
Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj whom he conferred superior title as
” Shrimant Yogi “
A beautiful Sanskrit word that means a “Yogi with a divine wealth of mind “
He has created this holy literature as a handbook or manual of life for the entire humanity.
Shri DasBodh is a perfect management guide covering almost all aspects of human life and guiding us to live it in the best possible ways.
This entire book is the complete essence of lessons from ancient Sanskrit scriptures Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Gita, Mahabharata, and Ramayana.
The beauty of Shri DasBodh is that even though it is written several centuries before each and every sentence in it is very much relevant to today’s modern world situations.
I will describe this whole book in one word. Only one word from the ancient Sanskrit language…!!!
” Akshar “
The meaning of this beautiful word is ” Which remains TRUE and retains its original form in all stages of time. Past, present, and future. Which remains indestructible in the turbulence of changes in the world.
Akshar also means alphabet which remains as a foundation of speech…
non-breakable, non-changeable, and non-replaceable…!!!
