The basic principles of acupressure:
Acupressure points are located on meridians (energy pathways), which, according to traditional Chinese medicine, permeate the body and maintain the flow of “qi” energy. Each point on the body is associated with a specific organ, system, or condition. Stimulation of these points can help improve the function of the relevant organs and relieve symptoms. Finger pressure, poking or circular movements are used to stimulate the points. This can lead to muscle relaxation, improved blood circulation, and the release of endorphins. Acupressure can be performed independently or with the help of another person. This makes it possible for home usage. Due to this ancient method: blood circulation improves, intracellular metabolic processes are normalized, tissues are saturated with oxygen, and the psycho-emotional state improves.
These techniques cannot be studied from books, it is important to learn them from the masters. We are lucky to go to such a master.
Dr. Dakshina Murthy is the Director of the Indian Department of Yoga University of the Americas, and holds a PhD in Acupressure, as well as diplomas in pharmacology, naturopathy, and magnetic therapy. He has 25 years of experience and amazing results. Dr. Murthy also practices and teaches yoga, and uses yoga therapy methods in his work.
Along with this outstanding certified course, we will be practicing yoga, pranayamas, and meditation under the guidance of yogini Minakshi Giri and Himalayan yogi Dasbodh Giri – speakers of Global Yoga Summit.

Mount Arunachala is considered to be Shiva in the most literal sense of the word. This mountain is not just a mountain, but the embodiment of Shiva. Geologists believe that this mountain is older than the Himalayas. It is considered one of the holiest places in India.
According to legend, it was here that Shiva turned into the first Shiva Lingam – the column of fire, the beginning and end of which Brahma and Vishnu searched throughout the universe, but could not find. Since the column of fire was so dazzling that it was impossible to look at it, Shiva turned to Mount Arunachal, saying: “As the moon reflects the light of the sun, so other holy places will reflect the sanctity of Arunachala. This is the only place where I have taken this form for the sake of those who want to worship me and achieve enlightenment. Arunachala is the incarnate OM.”
The ancient temple of Arunachaleswarar, standing at the foot of Arunachal, is not just one of the largest and most mystical temples in India. It is the home of the Arunachaleshwar Lingam: Shiva, embodied in the Lingam of Fire.
